Our Faculty was established by the Council of Ministers’ decision published in the Official Gazette dated 25.06.2019 and numbered 30812. It started education in the 2023–2024 academic year. In the Faculty of Pharmacy, there are three departments: the Department of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Department of Professional Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology. Affiliated with these departments are the Divisions of Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Toxicology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Botany, Pharmacy Management, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Radiopharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology.
A five-year undergraduate program is implemented in the Faculty of Pharmacy. To graduate, students must complete 200 national credits and 300 ECTS credits (in accordance with the Ondokuz Mayıs University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Training Regulation). Beginning from the end of the second year, students complete their internship training through three summer internships (hospital, community pharmacy, and industry) and through hospital/community pharmacy or industry internships conducted in the tenth semester.
